1. Overview
This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which World Royal Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us") will provide refunds for Aussie PayPOS subscription plans and related services.
Our services include monthly subscription plans (Website + Payments, Website + iOS App, and Complete Package) and associated setup and onboarding services.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Where the ACL applies, its protections take precedence over this policy.
2. Monthly Subscription Fees
2.1 General Rule
All monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced, except as required under Australian Consumer Law or as otherwise stated in this policy.
2.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@paypos.com.au.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You will continue to have access to your plan until the end of the paid period.

No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.
2.3 Free Trial (if applicable)
If you are on a free trial period, you may cancel at any time before the trial ends without being charged. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the standard cancellation terms above apply.
3. Setup and Onboarding Fees
Setup fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once work has commenced, as these represent time and resources already allocated to your account.
If setup work has not yet commenced, a full refund of any setup fee paid will be issued upon request.
4. Website and App Development Services
For custom website and mobile app development included in your plan:

If development work has not commenced, a full refund is available upon request.

If development work has commenced, refunds will be assessed on a pro-rata basis reflecting the work completed to date.

Once a website or app has been delivered and accepted (or deemed accepted after 7 days without written objection), no refund will be issued for development work.
5. Refunds Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you may be entitled to a remedy if our services:

Are not fit for the purpose we described

Do not match the description we provided

Are not delivered within a reasonable time

Fail to meet acceptable quality standards
Where a major failure occurs, you are entitled to choose a refund or other remedy. Where a minor failure occurs, we will first attempt to remedy the issue within a reasonable time. If we cannot do so, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of your account.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.
Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
